A game developer and designer from germany and you found my portfolio website. Here you can see a variety of games I worked on so far and some information about what I was responsible for.

Exes in Crime

Unity, PC, Turn Based Strategy, Card Game

An ambitious mixture of turn based strategy and card game, with a spicy plot and diverse cast.
Besides the card game, strategy game and UX implementations, I created editor tools for the artists and designers of the team, including a map editor and a dialogue editor.

Handy Dandy

Unity, PC, Co-op, Puzzle Platformer

A cute puzzle platformer best played locally with a friend. It got released in 2020 on Steam and got a lot of positive reviews.
While the game design of handy dandy is pretty simple at first glance, I had to find some creative solutions to make the overlapping level layouts work.

Mount Doom

Unity, Mobile, Idle Game, Online

An idle game where you collect a variety of heroes. You can send them on missions or trade them with other players online.
One focus of this project was the implementation of a mobile idle game that plays in realtime while the app is closed.
Another focus was the server backend to allow for player to player trades (and you will probably never guess how I solved that feature).

What would Satan do?

Unity, Mobile, AR, Bluetooth, Digitale Boardgame

In this mysterious social deduction game a witch coven gathered to figure out which of them is possessed by Satan. The phones of the witches project the game pieces into AR-Space and serve as their device to secretely vote against each other. Will they find the culprit before it is too late?
The phones are connected via bluetooth, which was maybe not the most efficient solution, but a good learning opportunity.

Internship, PC and Consoles

During my internship at Envision Entertainment I was part of the 'The Settler New Allies' team. Besides fixing bugs in the game logic my main responsibility was to write automated tests for edge case scenarios. It was my first experience working with a large foreign code base.

Heading South

A flock of sparrows has to flee their home as an eternal winter approaches. Protect your birds by using different formations in this ice cold fight for survival. Alien Emoji was developed during the Global Game Jam 2020. It is a semantic puzzle game in which the player has to deduct what the symbols on their translator mean to have successful conversations with their fellow students.
